Megab 3000 calibration structure – the prominent feature of Iran Madar products
In the process of a magnetic flowmeter calibration, a large amount of water must pass through the flowmeter in a certain period, that is called the wet calibration method.
All flowmeters produced by Iran Madar are calibrated in its specialized calibration rig and then sent to consumers with a valid certificate.
MagAb structure | Integrated (Compact) or Separated (Separate)
MagAb magnetic flowmeter is available in two models:
- Compact:
- In this model, the sensor and the display are connected, and the operator must go to the place where the flowmeter is installed for local observation and reading.
- Separate:
- The display is separated from the sensor and inserted into the protective box with extra accessories. In this case, the cable between the display and the sensor could be optional from 5 meters up to 60 meters.
In cases where MagAb is installed in manhole conditions, it is recommended to use it “in a separate form”, so that in the existence of any moisture or leakage occurrence, the device can be operated with a suitable IP.
MagAb ancillary options (optional)
DATA LOGGER
This electronic equipment stores the measured data over time with a specific sampling frequency. The data logger can be provided internally or externally. There is a RAM with sufficient memory placed on the electronic board.
After determining the amount of sampling time on the display, you can see the instantaneous flow rate, total flow rate, outgoing flow rate, return flow rate, errors, and other variables and parameters in the Excel file.
GSM/SMS
If it is necessary to transfer the measured information to a place far from the installation site, the MagAb flowmeter can be equipped with a GSM/SMS electronic board.
By adding this option to the device, you can send an SMS to the SIM card in the flowmeter and receive the sampled data.
It is also possible to monitor the information received from the flowmeters on the website or store them on the server.
UPS
In cases where there is a possibility of a power outage, you can use the uninterrupted power supply system (UPS) along with the MagAb electromagnetic flowmeter, which can provide electricity for 12 hours in compact models and 24 hours in separate models.
Hastelloy / Titanium Electrode
When the fluid is corrosive or even abrasive and its pH is in the range of acidic or alkaline fluids, Hastelloy or Titanium electrodes can be used.

Batching
For some applications that seem necessary to divide the volume of liquid in the tank into certain proportions, the batching system can be employed.
This system is used together with the MagAb flowmeter and by entering the set point on it and pressing the start button, the fluid will pass through the flowmeter in the specified amount.
PFTE Lining
When the fluid is corrosive or abrasive, depending on the type of fluid, PTFE lining is strongly recommended because of its high resistance. This lining type is the best solution for high-temperature fluids.
304 / 316 stainless steel body
In food or pharmaceutical industries and in cases where there is concern about rust, stainless steel can be used for the body or the display of the flowmeter.
Pressure Transmitter
MagAb allows the pressure transmitter to be connected to it and the quantity could be displayed on the screen along with other flowmeter parameters.
With the possibility of connecting the pressure transmitter to the MagAb magnetic meter, operating cost would be lowered due to not using the another display to show the pressure.
